Papillion Middle School has three 7th grade concert ensembles called our Cadet Bands.
7-1 Rehearses 1st Hour, 7-2 Rehearses 2nd Hour, and 7-3 Rehearses 3rd Hour.
Symphonic Band
This year, 8th graders will be rehearsing in three separate ensembles with the hope of performing as one combined group at some point. This 8th grade combined group is called our Symphonic Band and is our premier concert ensemble featuring pieces of varying styles and increasing difficulty.
Papillion Middle School is fortunate to have two performing jazz ensembles. Our Titan Jazz Band is an audition-based ensemble that performs at various venues and festivals in the Omaha metropolitan area. The Cadet Jazz Band is primarily made up of 7th graders interested in learning to play jazz. Both ensembles explore the many different styles of jazz as well as the important skill of improvising.
